FAQ |
To get a search result you must either enter a keyword or set the AppScore slider to greater than 0. However, we are aware of a bug where sometimes the search functionality will not work no matter what you do. There is a temporary fix and we are currently looking into this issue and hope to have it permanently resolved soon. The temporary fix is to quit your browser (not just close the browser window but actually quit the application) and then re-open the browser. If you try your search again it should now work. Alternatively, if you do not want to quit your browser and you have a different browser (not a different version of the same browser) on your computer, you can open that second browser and the search should work. If you experience this bug or any others, we would love to hear from you and know what operating system and browser you are using. Please contact us via our feedback page. With hundreds of thousands of iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad, and Mac apps to choose from today how do you know which are the best apps? You could search through multiple review sites but wouldn't it be great if one site aggregated all the reviews into one score – making it easy for you to make informed decisions? AppMyWorld does just that! We comb prominent app review sites and use their review scores to create an aggreate score that we call an AppScore. This makes it simple for you to find the apps you are looking for, the latest app reviews, and the AppScore all in one place to determine which apps are the best. When you come to AppMyWorld, you know you are getting unbiased and reliable information on all of your apps! An AppScore is an aggregate score on a scale of 1 to 100 that is based on app review scores from quality websites. To have an appscore, an app must have at least two reviews. We are constantly adding new reviews. If an app receives a new review, the AppScore will rise or fall accordingly. When an app doesn’t have the minimum number of reviews to receive an AppScore, then “XX” is used as the AppScore until the app has at least two reviews. Technical hiccups aside, every current app from the Apple iTunes App Store and Mac App Store is included on the site. Yes we attempt to include every app from the iTunes App Store unless there is an unforeseen technical hiccup. AppMyWorld strives to include a wide range of quality websites in its calculations.
