We are back at it again with five more games to spend some time with. Leading off our series with a 93 AppScore is Nightmares from the Deep: The Cursed Heart, Collector’s Edition - an adventure game where you chase down a pirate that has kidnapped your daughter. The iPad version of the same game, Nightmares from the Deep: The Cursed Heart, Collector’s Edition HD is also in our top 5 with an 82 AppScore (tied for fifth). This week we have three games tied for second with an 83 AppScore: Whoowasit? HD - a mystery game for kids where they must find a stolen magical ring, Twang the Fox - an adventure game where you help Twang the Fox rescue his kidnapped wife and cubs and finally Babel Rising: Cataclysm - an action game where you play the role of God, pretty sweet being the almighty, and your job is to prevent the humans from building a tower to get to you. Closing out our top 5 with an 82 AppScore are two games: one mentioned above and My Singing Monsters - a building game where you collect and breed singing monsters. I'm definitely interested in the games this week, especially the one where I get to play god because how often does that opportunity come around? As always let us know what games you decide to download and give us your thoughts on the games.

As always our iPhone and iPad app rankings are based on aggregating professional review scores from around the web.

AppScores, prices, ranking, and availability are accurate as of 9/25/12. To make the list an AppScore of 75 or above is needed and the primary app category must be "Games". The top 5 apps ranked by AppScore that meet these criteria make the list.
