Welcome back to our Top iPhone and iPad (non-games) series. This week we only have three apps that meet our criteria. Coming in first with a 93 AppScore, Jasmine - YouTube Client allows you to manage playlists, provides parental controls and filters spam among other features. Also, it's universal (made for iPad & iPhone) while the new official YouTube app is only iPhone so far. Next we have Marx Runner - with an 88 AppScore, the app creates music while you run releasing different beats based on how fast you're moving and records your running stats. I think I will use this app to motivate me on my next run. Our final app of the week is Toca Band with a 75 AppScore - it's a kid's app that teaches children about music by letting them swap in-and-out unique sounding band members and even modify their sound just by moving them around the stage. It really aims to let kids play with music in a simple, nonthreatening way. So now that you've seen all three, check'em and tell us what you think!

As always rankings are based on aggregating professional review scores from around the web for apps (non-games) released 2 - 3 weeks prior to allow for reviews to accumulate.

Notes: Top five is based on apps released two to three weeks prior, in this case 9/16/12 - 9/22/12, to the current week to allow for reviews to come in. AppScores, prices, ranking, and availability are accurate as of 10/10/12. To make the list an AppScore of 75 or above is needed and the primary app category cannot be "Games". The top 5 apps ranked by AppScore that meet these criteria make the list.
