What sets Typic apart from other similar apps is its well-executed simplicity. While some may balk at the fact that there are only a handful of filters and fonts to choose from, the upside is that it only takes a few seconds to get a photo from your iPhone’s library to the web. Typic does have some great qualities but there are a few things that could be improved in future updates. For example, I feel that there is a limited amount of filters....The border that defaults to every picture adds a nice touch as well but I wish that it could be removed in some cases. Also, I’d really like to see the option to make the font different colors since the only color available is white. Aside from those small issues, Typic is one of the cleanest and simplest photo-editing apps I’ve used and I’d recommend it to anyone. It’s available now for free so there is really nothing to lose and only fun photos to gain. Date: October 03, 2012

While I don’t usually put captions on my photos, I found Typic to be quite a pleasant experience. The app is fast, looks great, is simple to use, and delivers some great results.
