Reckless Racing 2 improves on all of the original game’s features and adds several more goodies such as career mode and car customization. This all combines to make it the best “rubbin’s racin’” game on the App Store. Date: February 03, 2012

Reckless Racing 2 is bigger and better in almost every way and while it’s not a leader in terms of new gameplay, it’s still a benchmark for the platform. Date: February 02, 2012

Reckless Racing 2 ranks up there with some of the best recent iOS racing games, like Mini Motor Racing and the unconventional DrawRace 2. Polarbit has done an excellent job improving nearly all of the mechanics of the original game, one by one. We're confident this series is on the right track, and we can't wait to see how crazy they get in the next game. Date: February 03, 2012

The comprehensive career mode, wealth of maps, and tweaks to the arcade racing formula has made this game more enjoyable in the long term. Add in the amazing visuals and music, and there’s not much to dislike here. Folks have sounded off in our forums in regards to the significant changes to the core gameplay. Personally, if these changes result in an incredibly fun to play game, then what more can you ask for? Date: February 07, 2012

Some folks might balk at the game’s initial launch price when browsing the market. Please don’t. On multiple occasions I’ve paid three or four times as much for games that have far less to offer and aren’t nearly as fun as Reckless Racing 2. It bears repeating that this game can stand proudly side-by-side with almost any arcade racer on any other platform. The fact that you can carry it around with you at all times just gets me giddy. Do yourself a favor and slam it into high gear, get this game now. Date: February 07, 2012

The vast amount of tracks is insane and I never found myself saying “Oh, this track again.”  Instead I was eager to see what the next track would look like. Add on top of all this–multiple race modes, multiplayer, and a fleshed-out car upgrade system that could pass as Gran Turismo on the iPhone. Can you see why I could’ve had a one-liner for this review?! This game is awesome! Date: February 07, 2012

Each race is action packed and the graphics look absolutely fantastic on the New iPad’s retina display. The ability to switch between a number of different steering modes is a great addition, allowing gamers to find the perfect control system for them – its not always easy/comfortable to tilt and rotate an iPad, but might be the ideal choice for someone playing the game on their iPhone. If I do have a real criticism, it is the games tracks...That is no reason not to consider this an essential buy, as Reckless Racing 2 delivers on just about every other front. Although there are a plethora of top down racers on the App Store right now, I’d stick my neck out and say that Reckless Racing 2 is the best one out there, hands down, and will be for some time to come. Pixelbite have really nailed it with this one. Date: February 15, 2012

While the investment of time it takes to get good at Reckless Racing is respectable, the rewards of sliding off a dirt road and onto a paved straightaway to overtake the first-place car are worth it every time. By not taking itself too seriously, Polarbit has managed to keep everything fun while also challenging you beyond what you might have expected. It’s not for kids, nor is it for anyone just looking for a casual, one-off racer, but Reckless Racing 2 Reckless Racing 2 - Polarbit has a ton to offer for those interested in a quirky, exhilarating new perspective on the iOS racing genre. Overall, Reckless Racing 2 is certainly a welcome return. It doesn’t feel like a sequel though, so fans of the original may be disappointed (particularly if you liked the banjos!). In terms of actual racing, gameplay and options I do think it is a far better game. The controls really are superb (whichever option you go with). Once again though it’s a tough call between this and Mini Motor Racing. That game feels like playing with real toy cars, while Reckless Racing on-the-other-hand feels a little more realistic, and not just in terms of graphics. Date: February 02, 2012

Reckless Racing 2 is a great sequel to the original with an amazing Career mode and an awesome new vehicle upgrade mechanic. Once again the shortcomings of the somewhat laggy multiplayer, are fortunately overshadowed by the game’s solid single player experience. This in one good ole’ time that is not to be missed! I expected this game (especially being a sequel) to have controls that could be felt by the movements I was making as I played. I thought I was finally going to be able to have a venue to express my road rage or dream of being a race car driver with this game. However, I was disappointed to see the controls were two arrows on the bottom left corner of the screen to accelerate and turn, which was awkward. Date: February 09, 2012

The game is passable, but there just isn’t an enjoyable experience across any of the modes, and really no incentive to keep going through the motions of all that’s included. It feels like a lackadaisical ride throughout, and all of the modes, cars, upgrades, and graphics can’t improve that. Date: February 02, 2012
