While no publisher or developer is perfect, G5 has been pretty consistent about impressing me with the titles that add to their portfolio. Even so, I was actually starting to get burnt out by the whole hidden object genre. Nightmares From The Deep came along just in time to rekindle my excitement for this type of game play. An engaging story, a nice balance in game play and plenty to do all make this game worth playing from beginning to end. The wandering back and forth was a bit annoying at times, but overall Cursed Heart does just about everything right. Date: September 06, 2012

My only complaint is that The Cursed Heart may be a little too detailed. For example, to open a door, I had to insert the key, turn the key, and then turn the handle, which seemed a bit excessive just to get to the next part of the puzzle. Still, it’s a lot of fun, and many of you may enjoy these little details. All in all, if you love the spooky, mystery subset of hidden object games, you will love The Cursed Heart. I had a fun couple of hours beating Nightmares from the Deep HD, and there were still a lot of achievements left and a harder level of difficulty giving more hours of the same puzzles. If you want an adventure game set in a pirate world not too far from Pirates of the Caribbean this is definitely a nice option even for those not usually keen on hidden object games.
