All of this said, GTA:CW is very much the game you’ve played before, perhaps even multiple times on various devices. Newcomers should certainly not hesitate, but old-time Chinatown veterans should think about whether they truly want to play through it all again before dropping $10. Date: September 09, 2010

Simply put, the iPad version of GTA is the best version we’ve seen so far, and may well be the best iPad game to date. Date: September 13, 2010

While you won’t get any new content for upgrading to the HD version, it’s so pretty I can’t see why you wouldn’t. If you’re even remotely considering it, you’re a true fan of the series and I wouldn’t give it a second thought. In fact, why are you still reading this? No really. Go buy it now! A very respectable port to the iPad gives the platform perhaps its most impressive game. Veterans and newcomers of Chinatown Wars should take note. Date: September 14, 2010

For the purchase price, there’s a large amount of content to be found in the iPad version of this Rockstar title; hours upon hours of missions and a plethora of side quests. Unfortunately, the control issues and graphical slowdown problems keep this from being a must own iPad application. Date: September 14, 2010

Awkward menus and a few niggles are not enough to dampen this hugely enjoyable sandbox game. Date: September 20, 2010

The iPhone and iPad version are both priced at $9.99, and if you ever even remotely were interested in GTA then pick the version for your favorite device, and truly experience the best of on the go GTA. The game definitely doesn’t warrant being picked up on both devices as the differences are few and far between. Date: September 13, 2010
