Catch-22 is a very relaxing and frustrating one-button arcade game in which you play against yourself endlessly. You control one of two orbs that go around a Zen-like planet in a beautiful, colorful world with a relaxing and soothing soundtrack to go with it.
By jumping you gather pick-ups needed to score points and evade the other you (YOUR GHOST), who is going in the opposite direction.

When you collect all the pick-ups you’ll switch to the other orb, leaving your previous self to become your ghost and redo all the jumps you did. It’s up to you to avoid your own past jumps with more jumps!
Evade yourself as long as you can, get the highest high-score and compare your skill with players & friends, all over the world!

??? SOUNDS A BIT CONFUSING ???
No worries! If you want to take yourself for a spin before considering buying it, you can try it out for FREE on our FACEBOOK page: /catch22game

Featuring a zen-like soundtrack and single play sessions that could last for as little as a few seconds or as long as minutes, depending upon skill level, Catch-22 is one of the most intriguing and infectiously fun games to hit iOS in quite some time. Blending together equal parts simplicity and self-induced complexity, the game is an ideal fit on the platform. Don’t even bother to debate this ninety nine cent purchase. It should become a mandatory staple of your collection as soon as possible. Date: September 27, 2012

Thanks to the repetitive gameplay and the soothing colors, Catch-22 is one of those inherently relaxing games like Osmos or Eufloria. Still, this is not a game that is for everyone. It’s ultra simple with only one game mode, though there are leaderboards and achievements that add some depth. While I do recommend this game, I’d suggest trying it out before you buy. You can give it a whirl on the Catch-22 Facebook page. Date: September 28, 2012

The highest compliment I can pay to Catch-22 is that it feels like it was ripped right from the universe of the Rand and Robyn Miller’s Myst. For what little the game suffers from an occasional feeling that everything’s moving a little too slow - too unresponsively - it more than compensates with ambience and clever design. There is brilliance in simplicity here. More juxtaposition than contradiction. In fact, the only catch-22 left might be the fact that while you were reading this, you should have been playing. Catch 22's simple set up reveals a game that quickly becomes pretty tough, but always eggs you on to try again. Date: October 08, 2012

The Catch-22 here is a game that is paradoxically fun, despite a few flaws and a lack of modes that would otherwise cripple less creative games. If the developer commits to its future growth and repair (functional achievements and a co-op mode), Catch-22 will become a score-chasing game that players and their friends will have even more reasons for which to return. This is a time waster done right and ironically, definitely worth the time you will certainly give it. Date: October 16, 2012
